testimonials
1.
Honestly if you want results go to Scott. I noticed within the first
month. You feel great when you leave, like you got a real workout. The
prices couldn't be better!! Your not going to find a better trainer
cheaper. For fast results look no further!
2. I have been
training with Scott since August 2007. His workouts ensure personal
progress by way of circuit training. I enjoy the mix of the weight
lifting and cardio - it is always a challenge. Thanks Scott.
3.
You will enjoy working with Scott, bring enthusiam, great knowledge,
and pushes you in the right direction to achieve your goals. Either
Solo or in Group classes-you can get the guidance you need and want for
fitness and strength training.
4. I can attest to the fact
that Scott should be the first and only place you look to if you want
absolute top-tier personal training in the most intimate private studio
in Denver, with all virtually brand new equipment. I began training
wanting, like most guys, to have a beach body for the upcoming
summertime. Fortunately, I can say thanks to Scott, I am well on my
way. I've lost 20 pounds, all while gaining muscle tone. His motivation
levels are perfect and the best thing about him, in my view, is his
adaptability. No matter what physical shape you are currently in, and
no matter what your ultimate end goals, he will provide a
non-judgmental, professional environment and approach to get you where
you want to go. In short, Scott is the Real Deal Holyfield and an all
around rockstar! Look no further, trust me, I've seen results first
hand in a very short time period.
5. I have been attending
Scotts bootcamp classes and i can honestly say that I look forward to
them all the time. Not only do i get a great workout from them but he
makes them fun too. Scott has a variety of different techniques and
exercises that work out all your muscles, he keeps your heart rate up,
and he makes sure that you are doing them right so that you can get the
best results out of your workout. Love the way he pushes you and doesnt
let you give up when you are ready to give up on yourself! Trainer
Scott is very motivated, always has a good attitude and i would
definately recommend him to anyone. Thanks Scott You are GREAT!!!!!
6.
I have been training with Scott since May of 2007. His workouts are
excellent and for all levels. He has the innate ability to make sure
everyone in the group gets a good workout regardless of fitness level
and that is easier said than done. I would recommend Scott to anyone.
7.
Scott brings experience, fun and sweat to workout's. Just let him know
what you are after and he'll deliver the program so you can get
results. Plus, his prices are very competitive.
8. After
registering for Scott's bootcamp I found that not only does Scott offer
guidence but most importantly the kind of determination you want in
your life! He has a true passion for wanting to help others. Now
involved in his personal trainings which are a intense...as well. I am
a SWF looking to improve my health.. 40ish, overweight and self esteem
was depleating. That's why I work with a personal trainer...and go to
the gym as well. Scott wants you help you feel, look and be your best!
What Scott offers during his trainings includes one on one directive
techniques accompanied by his personal leadership you appreciate and
look forward to following. Encouraging you to a limit you typically
wouldn't go to.... but after its all said and done YOU DIDI IT!!! You
were able to get through one of "Scott's Trainings"
9. I was
a bit nervous and worried about working with a personal trainer. "Is he
going to judge me for not being in better shape?" and "Am I going to be
able to handle the workouts that he is going to have me do?" were a
couple of my biggest concerns when I decided to work with Trainer
Scott. I can tell you that both of those thoughts and any worry I had
about working with Trainer Scott went away immediately. He really works
WITH you and takes the time to make sure you are doing all the
exercises correctly. Trainer Scott also gets results! I saw more
results in 4 weeks working with Trainer Scott then I did doing a whole
12 week program by myself. The man knows what he's doing and he makes
you feel good about doing it! IF YOU WANT RESULTS, TRAINER SCOTT IS THE
TRAINER FOR YOU!
10. I HAVE BEEN TRAINING WITH SCOT SINCE
SEPT. OF 2007. HE IS THE FIRST TRAINER WHO HAS GIVEN ME THE BEST
RESULTS EVER!!! WITH HIS TRAINING AND THE DIET HE GAVE ME I HAVE LOST
60 LBS!!!! I HAD TO GO SHOPPING FOR LITERALLY A WHOLE NEW WARDROBE!!
SCOTT IS THE BEST TRAINER AND IS TONS OF FUN!!! CHECK HIM OUT!!!
11.
If you want to get in shape but are like me and hate going to the
average gym, you should definitely checkout group training with Scott.
Its motivating because Scott provides guidance and instruction plus he
makes the workouts fun. The most important piece is that he pushes you
so that you dont give up on yourself at times when you may have given
up if you were working out alone. Great atmosphere and fast results.
12.
I have been working with Scott for about 7 months in those months he
helped me prepared for my first triathlon and lose almost 70 pounds.
When I first saw Scott on his website I thought, he looks scary I hope
I get ahold of his training partner Jason because he looks much nicer
but as it happened I reached Scott and I have never been happier. He
pushes me in every session but never lets me get discouraged or
unmotivated. He has also become a great friend which is very important
in a personal training situation because I trust him fully and feel
very confident that he would never do me wrong. He keeps me in line
with my nutrition and makes sure I am taking care of myself now that I
am in the process of training for an olympic length triathlon and a
half marathon. I could have never been in shape to do those things if
it hadn't been for Scott's help and support. Scott thanks for
everything you have done.
13. Scotts workout is awsome! The
atmosphere is fun, everyone has a lot of positive energy, we get a lot
of laughs as we work our butts off (literally). It is great and very
personalized. Join us!
14. I have used several trainers over
the years and I can honestly say that Scott was the easiest to work
with. Some trainers have the gun-ho attitude and some act like they
don't care. Scott provided a unique experience. I always had a good
time working out with him and there were great results because of that.
15.
Honestly if you want results go to Scott. I noticed within the first
month. You feel great when you leave, like you got a real workout. The
prices couldn't be better!! Your not going to find a better trainer
cheaper. For fast results look no further!
16. I have been
using the personal trainers at Stay In Shape For Life for about two
years now highly recommend them. They really made a
difference in
the way I workout. They have taught me new techniques that
I'm
able to use when working out on my own. My weekly workouts
with
them also help keep me on my training schedule in that my sessions with
them are appointments that I keep.
17. I have trained
regularly with Scott Harwood for three months. I'm grateful for the
fact that Scott will schedule in advance, is invariably punctual, and
always pleasant and companionable. he tailors the approach and regimen
to the client's age, body type, and personal goals. his detailed recall
of each training session prepares him to ensure every session varied
and progressive, in that results are compounded because of the
inability of any muscle, or group of muscles, to become
pattern-conditioned. I highly recommend Scott to anyone of any age for
physical fitness training.
18. After being unhappy with my
physical appearance for about 2 years; I wondered what I needed to do
to get back into shape. I was tired all the time and spent what time I
was not at work - on the couch! I would eat all the time, mostly out of
boredom. I finally made that decision to find a personal trainer who
would listen to the goals I wanted to achieve and help me reach those
goals. After meeting with Scott I thought he was just the one to help
me! He immediately made me feel comfortable in the gym when I started
training with him in September. After the first month of hard work; I
could tell it was paying off!!! I was amazed to find how much my energy
had increased and how my body started to tone up!! My performance at
worked improved as well; I was a lot more focused. He taught me about
nutrition and what was good and bad for me. I can now fit into clothes
I haven't been able to wear in years and my self esteem has increased.
19.
I'm a 44 year old Masters Swimmer and was never properly instructed on
how to navigate the weight room. Gym memberships etc. I was looking to
enhance my performance in the water by doing something different on
land. I found that with Scott Harwood, 2 intense workouts per week
coupled with my swim routine 4 times a week and Scott has help me gain
strength, endurance, and size....2 inches on nonexistent biceps, 1 inch
on my chest, and almost 2 inches from my waistline. But the most
important thing it's given me is CONFIDENCE.
20. I
worked out with Scott Harwood 3x/wk for 1 month before returning back
to work following maternity leave. My goal was to regain muscle tone
and fit into my pre-pregnancy professional wardrobe. Scott's workout
constantly challenged me. The entire hour was used and I felt I was
getting my money's worth 100%. I increased my strength and jump started
my metabolism very quickly.
21. Scott's humor and down to
earth demeanor really makes a tough workout an enjoyable hour. At first
you'll be focusing so much on the exercises just to make sure you don't
pass out (drink your water - it's intense!). But two or three classes
in, when your body's getting used to the intensity, Scott's workouts
turn into a type of comedy hour. Nonetheless, after about a month of
doing the class three days a week, I'm in much better cardiovascular
shape than I was coming in. There's no harassment about not being able
to keep up and no pressure to do something you aren't physically able
to do. The class is what you make it, but Scott provides an environment
where it's encouraging to come back several times a week.
22.
Guaranteed you don't push yourself hard enough at the gym... but Scott
will kick your butt and you'll feel it for days. No pain no gain right?
His workouts are do-able on your own, but come in regularly to get
pushed to the limit. You WILL see results FAST. He's tons more
affordable than trainers at a gym and much more fun. Highly
recommended. :)
23. Okay, so i am generally too lazy to
work out. Scott emails and text messages you to remind you to show up,
and then makes sure you really do. The workouts are great - a
combination of cardio, strength, and endurance. After that, its all up
to you!
24. I have been working out with Scott for over a
year now and I can truly say that his workouts are one of the best! He
incorporates a wide variety of exercises and techniques into his
workouts making sure to work all your different muscles. This also
makes each session more stimulating and fun! If your one who needs
motivation, Scott is your man! Not only does he not let you give up on
yourself so easily, but he’s always on top of making sure
that
you come to your session. He’s always pushing and encouraging
you
to a new level you normally wouldn’t have gone to on your
own.
It’s because of this my endurance and physical strength has
never
been better. Scott’s outgoing personality, good attitude and
sense of humor makes each session that much more enjoyable and fun. I
would recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for an all around great
personal trainer.
25. i have been training with scott on and
off for two years and havent been in better shape (even better than
high school!!). i always get my desired results from him and refuse to
train with anyone else. he is very easy to get along with and knows his
stuff! he has taught me MANY things from fitness to diet to personal
life achievement and accomplishment. i hope to train with him for a
long time to come and would recommend him to ANYONE from stay at home
moms to athletes. he really knows what he is doing and i continue to be
impressed. he is very consistant and i look forward to working out with
him! he makes it fun and has a great personality! - look no further for
a personal trainer....youve found him! ~paula r.
26. I
started bootcamp with Scott last summer and loved it!! It was the best
training that I could have ever got. So after a while I tried to do it
on my own and didn't return to bootcamp until just recently. Get your
ass to bootcamp is what Scott told me on Myspace! You can't get the
same workout on your own. Scott gives you the motivation to work hard
and you leave your session feeling great and accomplished. I like his
workouts because they are fun and you don't even know the time is
passing. Not only do you get a great workout that targets all your
"special needs" areas but you get great advise on how to work sore
muscles and stretches that work, AND you get to talk crap to Scott the
whole time! Or he's talking crap to you....Time flys when you are
talking about dumb rap songs and making fun of his life!! I highly
recommend him to all my friends!
27. I have been
working out at the Bootcamps with Scott on and off for about a year! If
you need motivation, this is it, he texts you, emails you before your
workout session so that you come! He's a great guy, great sense of
humor, NOT intimidating at all, and he really listens to your goals and
helps you reach them! I lost 10lbs my first month training with him and
more than anything I got in shape and toned up! Now I am getting
married in June (09) and I know he will get me in GREAT shape for my
big day! Without a doubt, the best trainer in Denver!!!!
28.
I've been working out with Scott for almost two years now. I starting
seeing muscle definition within a few weeks after my first workout.
After a few months I was able to run a 5k and did 100 push-ups in a
workout. He makes sure you're strengthening your core while you're
working everything else. Scott's methods allowed me to retain my muscle
definition and the majority of my muscle strength when I was unable to
workout for a few weeks due to injuries (completely unrelated to
working out with Scott). Lately I have only been able to workout with
Scott on the weekends but I still feel I get a full workout and
maintaining my muscle strength, tone and definition. I enjoy working
out with him - he really knows his business and he's always creating
new exercises that continue to challenge the body.
29.
If you want to get in shape, see actual results, and not plateau this
is the workout for you. Bootcamp, Group Class or Single One-on-One are
all good. Be prepared as Scott may be for you too <little inside
joke>. He's crass, but has what it takes to push your limits
incrementally and take you through what you may think as a difficult
thing to do. I started out out of shape, feeling it, looking it and had
to contend with asthma. I have to tell you my body has changed for the
better, maybe even in a vain way, work stress is gone, i eat healthy,
endurance is up dramatically. Stick to the routine and you'll find you
can do stuff you never thought you could do. -- K --
30.
We have been working with Scott for almost a year now and he is a great
trainer! His workouts are different each time, which keeps our muscles
from getting use to a specific routine, and keeps us from getting
bored. Scott is a genuinely nice person and adabts his style to his
individual clients. He has the right mixture of "push" and fun.
31.
I have worked with Scott as a business partner and I have to say he is
one of the best around. He pushes his clients and gets the most out of
them. This is not only one of the hardest training sessions in town, it
is also an educational experience. Check out his Tuesday and Thursday
bootcamps.
32. This place really has is all. The fact
that you don't have to walk around and feel odd around all the gym
bunnies or meat heads, like at 24 hour fitness or places like it, makes
the enviroment very relaxed. Scotts has the ability to keep your mind
off of working out while telling jokes or great stories. I would highly
recomind this to anyone no matter your age or athletic ability.
33.
I have trained with Scott for 8 months and have achieved a great deal
of success! Scott is a good motivator, and he holds you accountale to
meet your goals and ensures that you get what you pay for! Thanks for
pushing me to get in the best shape of my life. Juli A.
34.
At the end of my 20;s I realized with horror I needed excercise. This
concept was completely foreign to me. I was always shy and never
identified with jock culture. Scott makes working out easy and fun and
now I cant live without going! He turned me from a marshmallow into a
sexy beast! Thanks Trainer Scott!
35. Scott does not
subscribe to the stereotypical trainer attitude and he makes sure that
every session pushes you to a new level. His dynamic personality keeps
the training fresh, as does the way he constantly mixes up training
with new and interesting approaches. When you work with Scott, be ready
to get results and be ready to enjoy the ride.
36. I
am a rock climber and I have been not doing so well in my lead
climbing! After coming to Trainer Scott for a couple of weeks I am a
new climber. All of my climbing buddies were wanting to know my secret!
It gives you endurance, strength and belief in yourself that you might
have been lacking! I am a lifetime member!
37. Really liked the interactive experience at Scott's Gym!
Had a lot of fun and its a great workout! JJ
41.
So yeah, the title speaks for itself. I do the boot camp class Scott
offers on Tues/Thurs nights and Saturday mornings. Its amazing. The
first time I tried it, I thought I was going to die :) It is very
intense. However, by continuing to push myself through, I have gotten
progressively better at everything in a very short amount of time.
Scott is extremely engaging...he keeps it fun and interesting the whole
time. He keeps our minds off how "hard" something might be by telling
great stories and making us laugh while we work out. The time literally
flies, and before you know it, class is done, and you feel great. I
highly recommend using Scott if you are looking for a trainer that can
give you the results you want while keeping you excited to keep going
back!
42. I trained with Scott for about 4 months
before I abruptly had to move out of town but to this day I still miss
his workouts. I had no weight to lose and just needed to tone up. I've
always worked out but after my first 30-minute workout with him, I felt
like a newbie. I felt muscles that I never even knew I had. I quickly
toned up and to this day I still haven't seen results as fast as I did
back when I trained with him. He's super funny and time flies when
you're working out with him. If I ever move back to Denver, he'll
definitely see my face again! Hire him as your trainer, you won't
regret it! Scott, move up north so you can train me! Pretty please!
43.
Started my day at 6:00am. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was
well worth it when I arrived at Scott's gym and he was waiting for me.
He is something of a Greek God - with blond hair, dancing eyes and a
dazzling white smile. Woo Hoo!! Scott gave me a tour and showed me the
machines. He took my pulse after five minutes on the treadmill. He was
alarmed that my pulse was so fast, but I attribute it to standing next
to him in his Lycra aerobic outfit. I enjoyed watching the skillful way
in which he conducted his boot camp class after my workout today. Very
inspiring. Scott was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although my gut
was already aching from holding it in the whole time he was around.
This is going to be a FANTASTIC week!!
44. I am in
decent shape, but I have always been 10 pounds from where I want to be.
I have been working out with Scott for a month and have hit the weight
I want. More importantly, I am doing activities with people much
younger than I without worrying about whether I can keep up. I am so
much stronger already! The classes are tough, but Scott makes the time
fly with silly stories and guessing games about the songs playing or
other current events. It is also really good meeting up with a whole
bunch of others who are all working hard and having fun along the way.
Scott could charge so much more because of the high value, but the
price is so reasonable, I wish so many more people would learn about it
and join the workouts. Scott is working to make Denver a bunch of the
toughest bad asses around!
45. Scott makes a workout
entertaining. I always thought I couldn't workout for an hour. I use to
worked out at the gym on my own and oh my god I felt like the clock
never moved and ended up quitting after 10 minutes! When you go to
Scott's workouts the time flys and you actually feel like you had a
great workout! You'll sweat, be sore the next day but man it feels
wonderful! Scott makes the workout diverse and MOST of it is
affordable! He offers bootcamp workouts, group training, and personal
training. Also, you aren't stuck indoors in a stuffy room, we actually
do some workout outside. He's a MUST!
46. Whether
you do individual, group or bootcamp, Scott rarely duplicates a workout
which keeps you and your muscles from getting into a boring routine.
He'll push you and your limits with the result being that you can see
significant improvement from your training sessions. His multiple
options keeps it affordable and the groups make the sessions go by
quicker. If you're serious about reaching your goals, give Scott a shot
47.
I started going to Scott's boot camp about a month ago, and I can
already feel a difference. I'ma triathlete so endurance is very
important for me, and nothing kicks my butt more than boot camp!! The
drills that Scott puts us though force the body to change and adapt. I
feel like I can run faster and cycle harder than I ever could before,
and my times are improving in each sport. I will continue to go to boot
camp as it has now become an integral part of my training!! I highly
recommend the class to anyone who is seeking a new challenge and wants
to take it to the next level.
48. Scott's boot camps
are intense yet effective. After 3 classes I noticed a difference in my
strength, endurance and weight. He's laid back but he won't let you
slack in class and is very good about explaining what each exercise
focuses on. He also makes sure you are doing the exercise correctly
with good form and intensity. Definitely a worthwhile class.
49.
I hate the gym. All those buff men parading around and no conversations
with anyone… Scott on the other hand makes working out FUN
and
you will see results. An hour goes by so fast that you end up motivated
to work out for 2 hours.. Plus Scott has an endless amount of stories
to tell and it’sa lot of bang for your buck. Ask him about
Boot
Camp… it’s fun and you will see results
50.
Scott is an awesome trainer. He always pushes you to your limit. Which
is great, because I would never ever be motivated enough to do that
many reps on my own. It's been difficult for me to find a trainer that
was "tough" enough to challenge me every time. Scott is that trainer.
51.
He listened to what my goals were and worked with me to help achieve
them. His motivating style kept me coming back.
52.
Scott really knows his stuff. I get a great workout every time. Scott
changes it up so you never get bored. Its always something new and
challenging. Love it.
53. Scott's impressed me by
keeping everything changing, he never seems to have the same training
session twice. Also I've gone in injured and he's tailored the workout
around what's been an issue. I absolutely recommend him
54.
I have been training with Scott for 4 months now and have gotten great
results! Having someone to be held accountable to makes sticking with
an exercise program much easier and you will push yourself further than
you ever would on your own. You absolutely will not find a personal
trainer for less anywhere in Denver. But do not let his prices fool you
- the classes Scott teaches are effective and tough! He will not let
anyone get away with doing less than their best. If everyone else runs
up the hill 5 times he expects you to run up the hill 5 times too even
if it takes you twice as long to do it. And if you are not laughing by
the end of the class there is something wrong with you! If you have
been considering signing up for bootcamp or personal training classes
by Scott, I encourage you to just try it. You will not regret it!
55.
ive recently started with scott at his boot camps And all I have to say
are positive things. I have noticed that my legs are much tighter and
my upper body muscle definition has improved! On a much more personal
note...I have greater confidence in my body and myself and my sex life
feels as if its gained quite a boost. If you're looking for a great
group class: look no further! The price is right and locations are
convenient. Try it out for yourself and if you're willing to work,
you'll definately see results!
56. Scott has been a
great help to me in trying to get back into shape. In the months that I
have been using Scott, I have increased my strength and endurance by a
considerable amount. Scott is also very innovative when it comes to his
programs by mixing up his workouts. He offers great advice on nutrition
and really can answer anything that is on your mind. Other than the
fact that he is a Braves fan, he is a great trainer and a really good
guy.
57. Scott's boot camp is great for people who are
new to a rigid exercise routine. I started his camp not getting much
physical exercise other than walking and biking. You are able to work
at your own pace, but at the same time Scott gives encouragement to
push yourself as hard as you can. The times are flexible to accommodate
a busy schedule. The classes can be large, but everyone is friendly and
energetic. Highly recommended, great price!
58. I have
been so impressed with Scott's bootcamp classes that I am about to sign
up for my third month! With a tight budget and a tricky work schedule
this class has been the best opportunity for me to get a really great
workout consistently at an affordable rate. Scott changes up the
routine every class and I always feel great when I leave. Highly
reccomended for those looking to get in shape for the summer!
59.
I have been training with Trainer Scott for two years now. It's always
a fun workout, something different every time you train. When he moved
to his location, I can honestly say that I just dreaded "The hill" now
I can say, I love it when we have to run it, it gets your cadio going
and that is what's needed to burn! I would highly recommend Trainer
Scott if you are looking for a good, exciting, never boring workout.
And all the other people that workout here are fun to workout with too!
In my opinion, Trainer Scott is "The Best of the Best" trainers!
60.
My mother and I decided to turn over a new, healthy, leaf together. We
started training with Scott a couple of days a week for an hour.
Despite our age difference & stamina, Scott kept us both moving
and
progressing. He never misses a beat! His approach is totally unique.
He's incredibly informed and knowledgeable. We're both so grateful for
his efforts. I'd encourage anyone of any ability and age to work with
Scott!
61. I'm bringing SEXY back because of Scott
The
first day I came to boot camp I was out of shape and VERY winded and
barely made it through the first class. But I've been attending this
class for a month and I've gotten MUCH better than when I started. I
have goals now thanks to Trainer Scott. He inspires me to kick ass
everyday and won't let you get away with anything less. Thanks to him I
have more definition in my body and I'm very happy with the results!
62.
I've been going to Scott's bootcamp for a few weeks now and I'm already
seeing results! He really pushes you to do your best and keeps you
entertained with his jokes and stories as you go. I would highly
reccomend this program to anyone looking for a fun, challenging workout.
63.
Scott's boot camps are challenging but do-able. He's fun, laidback, and
really knows his stuff. The best part is he makes the hour go by so
fast you won't even know you're done, but you'll definitely start
noticing the results!
64. I have been in boot camp for
three months now and Scott not only pushes me toward my personal limit
with hundreds of lunges, push ups, and situps, but he also entertains
the entire group with his every witty self for the entire hour. (He
might be the only one laughing, but it makes the hour go by fast!)
65.
Scott's boot camp is the best workout program I have ever done. It's a
great total body workout with a good mix of cardio and strength
training. I noticed results within the first couple of weeks after I
started. Scott is a great trainer and the workouts are always different
so boredom is not an issue. I'm so glad I found about Scott and his
boot camp - it's the best!
66. I started bootcamp
about a month ago. I needed something different. Bootcamp is definently
a workout! There is all levels of people who attend and Scott does a
great job helping you find the level of workout that is best for you.
The workout goes by fast and is effective. I have also met a few people
each week and enjoy the other people in the class. Each workout is
different which keeps me from being bored. I would recommend this class
to my friends!
67. Scott's bootcamp is an awesome
workout and you feel the results! He makes the hour go by fast with
stories and jokes and mixes up each session to be different from the
last. It's also extremely affordable compared to other area bootcamps
and the times available are super convenient.
68.
Scott is quirky with sound training principles that produce results if
you stick with him. Just when you are about to bail on that last sit
up, push up or running up the hill he is going to say something that
will keep you going. Now you might be asking your self from that moment
on what the hell is he talking about but at least you have forgotten
the pain. Of course you feel like you worked out the next day. So i
suggest purchasing advil or aspirin maybe if you have a Dr friend you
should consider codeine. Matt
69. Smart workout that
allows individuals from beginners to athletes to be challenged in a
supportive group environment. Efficient workout for looking better and
improving speed and performance. Great workout for core strength and
fat burning.
70. I have been working with Scott for
four months now and I have never felt better. I joined the personal
training group to get in shape for Air Force boot camp and I have every
confidence that I will be prepared and even excel there. Every day is a
new workout so it never gets boring. Scott's humor and stories have
even made going to the gym one of the highlights of my day
71.
I have only been going to boot camp for a short time but it is great.
Scott pushes you past your limits and I need that. I need that extra
push. He tells story majority of the time so the time goes by quicker.
I would definitely recommend him if you are looking to get in shape but
have some fun at the same time.
72. I've been going
for two months now and my cardio endurance is way up and I have tons of
energy. You get your butt whooped into shape, you get to hear
ridiculous stories that are never true, and you get questionable life
lessons. Always a good time and always something different.
73.
I love the bootcamp! I didn't realize how lazy my previous work outs
were until I started Scott's classes. I have only been going for a
month but can already see and feel results.
74. Oh, c'mon, give it a try....
By Steven - Oct 28, 2009
Okay,
so at the age of 42 I have put on a few pounds. Like, 40 of them. I was
doing a half-assed workout at my gym once or twice a month (maybe),
which meant I was spending about $50 a workout. I finally cancelled,
with the intention of getting up early every morning and going for a
healthy jog. (Yeah, that happened about twice.) I finally did an online
search for Denver Boot Camps, and decided to give Denver Boot Camps and
Trainer Scott a try. I have been attending the early-morning class
twice weekly for about a month now, and I can already see a decided
improvement in my level of fitness. This is an intense workout. We do a
lot of classics such as pushups and situps mixed with some exercises I
had never heard of a month ago (try "Bear Crawling" up and down a long
hallway two or three times at 6am and it will change your world.) As
far as the atmosphere goes, this is not a lycra-and-dance-steps gym
class. Scott keeps up a steady conversation throughout the

75. Great Workout, Great Trainer
By Sarah - Oct 4, 2009
I
have been attending Wash Park boot camp for about two months now and
have noticed a significant improvement in my endurance and muscle tone.
Trainer Scott provides an challenging workout using only free weights
and good ol' fashion calisthenics, exercises which I believe are lost
on your typical gym rat. Not only have I seen physical results, I have
also enjoyed myself most thoroughly. Scott regales us with his often
times hilarious personal stories creating a fun and unintimidating
environment. Not to mention, I have had the pleasure of meeting several
people of all different ages and sizes who share my goals of improving
their health. I emphatically recommend Wash Park Boot Camp if you are
looking for a challenging workout and even a few laughs.

76. Scott Harwood Is Awesome!!
By edwardhorn - Sep 22, 2009
Scott
has been training me for a few months, and I really love it. I can now
button jeans that were impossible before. His 30 minute hard core
workouts are intense, non-stop strength and cardio. I want to give up,
be his motivation and great sense of humor keeps me coming back. I know
that I will reach my goal of losing 30 pounds by January. The fact that
he is so open minded and such a great guy makes it no surprise that he
is sooooo booked! Thanks Scott

77. Super tough, but fun workout!...
By Misha - Sep 21, 2009
I've
never been pushed so hard in my life! Every time I train with Scott I
leave energized, knowing that in the morning I will be sore, but also
knowing that I'm another step closer to reaching my goals. I'm seeing
results so much faster than I had anticipated! In only a few weeks I
already feel stronger. To boot, I've already lost 2+ inches in such a
short amount of time... but with how much his workouts make you
sweat... I'm not surprised! :) I recommend Scott to anyone wanting to
change their life and get fit. Its an easy thing to do with someone as
motivational and funny as him.

78. Great Workout!
By Rod - Sep 21, 2009
I
started going to Scott's classes about a month ago and recently signed
up for 3 more months. The classes are great and affordable. Scott
brings his knowledge and sense of humor to each class. The activities
vary from class to class, but you are always pushed to your limit. You
meet fun people and see results.

80. Phenomenal workout and trainer
By Avni - Sep 2, 2009
I
gave birth to my son two years ago, and I was still carrying around the
baby weight, then again, I gained more weight after giving birth. A
confession: I did all sorts of diet, the Acai Berry Diet, Slim Quick,
Slim Fast, Weight Watcher, Campbell Soup Diet, Alli, Blueberry
&
Flax seed diet, Papaya pills diets, so on and on. I guess I wanted to
see results, fast, I lost about 20 pound doing all of the mentioned
diets and then it flat lined. I started biking, walking; I even got the
apps to watch my diet, I cut about 2000 calories from my diet. I would
lose 2-3 pounds and gain it right back over the weekend. Even after
losing 20 pounds, I had floppy arm. If I would have flapped harder and
faster I would have flown, my stomach looked like I was 6 months
pregnant, I felt terrible about my body. In need of serious change, I
looked up boot camp around Denver. I found Scott's Wash Park Boot Camp
and it was affordable (that's what really attracted me at first

81. I was familiar with their bathrooms...
By Karen - Aug 14, 2009
When
I started working with Scott, I was very out of shape. For the first
two weeks I would end each session puking in their bathroom. But now, I
am getting stronger and find my endurance is increasing. No more trips
to the bathroom. Scott knows when to push you and when to ease up a
bit. I still have a long ways to go before I am in good shape, but I am
getting there, with the help of Scott, slowly and in a healthy manner.
And that is what matters.

82. Never going back to a gym!
By Max - Aug 12, 2009
I
have been going to Scott's boot-camp for about a month now. I am
relatively athletic, I do a bunch of outdoor activities, and was an
avid gym-goer before joining the boot-camp. This has turned out to be
the most fun I have had workout since I played sports when I was much,
much younger. Scott is encouraging, funny, and informative. The workout
always kicks my butt, but differently from my previous routines, leaves
me energized and looking forward to coming back the next day for more.
The people at the boot-camp all have a great sense of humor, are
welcoming, and fun to be around. I would recommend this to anyone at
any fitness level. You burn a ton of calories, sculpt your muscles, and
increase your cardiovascular endurance. I don't ever want to go back to
a gym again.

Definitely worth the investment!!!!
By Craig - Aug 5, 2009
Scott
is a great trainer. I'm working to get healthy and in much better shape
as I haven't worked out for years and Scott does a great job in
motivating me and, well, kicking my butt! The good thing is that he
does it in a great way that motivates you, instead of making you feel
bad for being out of shape. He's very flexible on time and scheduling
sessions. I always leave my sessions feeling great, with much more
energy (even tho I'm usually a little sore too :). I'd definitely
recommend Scott to anyone.

Scott
has been a great motivator and trainer for me since I joined boot camp.
There is nothing easy about this class but Scott makes it enjoyable and
fun so that before you know it your hour is up. Working out in the park
is also a great and there are always new people showing up to class
that you meet. It's the best workout I've ever had.

Best workout in the shortest time
By Woody - Aug 5, 2009
What
I like best about Scott's workouts is that within about a month I am
strong enough to do any activity with anyone! That is a great place to
be. I really look forward to the time knowing the hour does make a huge
difference. I do a lot of other activity, but his classes have raised
my ability beyond what I could do 10 years ago.

Trainer Scott ROCKS!
By Jenna - Aug 4, 2009
Before
starting Trainer Scott's Boot Camp a few months ago, I always imagined
Boot Camp's to be along the lines of the ones I've seen on Desperate
Housewives and in Army movies, with a drill sergeant yelling at you and
just miserable for those who aren't in the best of shape. I was
pleasantly surprised when I started Scott's Boot Camp as he is nothing
like those "Drill Sergeants" that you see depicted on TV, but instead
very entertaining at times. He tends to tell very amusing stories
(whether true or made up is always the question) that help the time go
by while you get in a great workout. Trainer Scott's Boot Camp was very
humbling for me, as I am in good shape, but needed help mixing up my
workouts, and they do the trick, that's for sure! Also, the price is
right for those who do not want to spend a lot of money.

Denver's Best Bootcamp
By keot4373 - Aug 4, 2009
I
highly recommend Scott's Washington Park bootcamp! Before starting
Scott's bootcamp I felt I was in pretty good shape, but my body had
reached a "plateau"--I was frustratingly no longer seeing any results
from my workouts. Scott's workouts are constantly changing, thus
producing faster results. I have lost 10 pounds and have really toned
up in the past 3 months, and remember this is someone who thought she
was in pretty good shape to begin with! Even in a large group of
various fitness levels, Scott finds ways to individualize my workout.
So, if you are looking for a tough workout that WILL produce results
and want to have fun at the same time, then this is the bootcamp for
you!!!

really enjoy the boot camp I am having fun and getting in shape while
doing it. Scott has a great sense of humor and makes the class fly by.
By the end of the class you think you still have 30 minutes left. I
have already lost a few pounds and inches and can't wait to continue to
get in and then keep in shape using Scotts boot camp.

Worst Bootcamp in Denver, But Cheapest
By Liz - Aug 3, 2009
You
pay for what you get. I've done four different boot camps in Denver;
Genesis' boot camp, Powerhouse Fitness' boot camp, CorePower Yoga's
boot camp and Scott's boot camp. Yes, you'll get a work out. But in
terms of overall knowledge and caliber of his circuits, it's very basic
training. Which makes sense, as I think Scott's background is in basic
training from being in the military. I'm not sure if he's received
personal training accreditation, so overall fitness concepts are dated.
I almost felt like I may hurt myself with his military-style
techniques. I went back to the more expensive boot camps as they are
worth the extra cost for better instruction.

You'll get results!
By sarahbyre - Jul 20, 2009
I
have been training with Scott for 4 months now and have gotten great
You will not regret
it!

Scott's
boot camp is great for people who are new to a rigid exercise routine.
I started his camp not getting much physical exercise other than
walking and biking. You are able to work at your own pace, but at the
same time Scott gives encouragement to push yourself as hard as you
can. The times are flexible to accommodate a busy schedule. The classes
can be large, but everyone is friendly and energetic. Highly
recommended, great price!

By HomegrownColorado - Jul 2, 2009
I've
been going for two months now and my cardio endurance is way up and I
have tons of energy. You get your butt whooped into shape, you get to
hear ridiculous stories that are never true, and you get questionable
life lessons. Always a good time and always something
different.

love the bootcamp! I didn't realize how lazy my previous work outs were
until I started Scott's classes. I have only been going for a month but
can already see and feel results.

Fun Group Fitness
By Brooke - Jun 30, 2009
I
have been working with Scott for four months now and I have never felt
better. I joined the personal training group to get in shape for Air
Force boot camp and I have every confidence that I will be prepared and
even excel there. Every day is a new workout so it never gets boring.
Scott's humor and stories have even made going to the gym one of the
highlights of my day.

Trainer Scott "the Best of the...
By Stephanie - Jun 5, 2009
I
have been training with Trainer Scott for two years now. It's always a
fun workout, something different every time you train. When he moved to
his location, I can honestly say that I just dreaded "The hill" now I
can say, I love it when we have to run it, it gets your cadio going and
that is what's needed to burn! I would highly recommend Trainer Scott
if you are looking for a good, exciting, never boring workout. And all
the other people that workout here are fun to workout with too! In my
opinion, Trainer Scott is "The Best of the Best" trainers!

By Matt - Jun 5, 2009
Scott
is quirky with sound training principles that produce results if you
stick with him. Just when you are about to bail on that last sit up,
push up or running up the hill he is going to say something that will
keep you going. Now you might be asking your self from that moment on
what the hell is he talking about but at least you have forgotten the
pain. Of course you feel like you worked out the next day. So i suggest
purchasing advil or aspirin maybe if you have a Dr friend you should
consider codeine. Matt

By Megan - Jun 3, 2009
I
have been so impressed with Scott's bootcamp classes that I am about to
sign up for my third month! With a tight budget and a tricky work
schedule this class has been the best opportunity for me to get a
really great workout consistently at an affordable rate. Scott changes
up the routine every class and I always feel great when I leave. Highly
reccomended for those looking to get in shape for the summer!

Great Instructor
By Devon - Jun 3, 2009
I
started bootcamp about a month ago. I needed something different.
Bootcamp is definently a workout! There is all levels of people who
attend and Scott does a great job helping you find the level of workout
that is best for you. The workout goes by fast and is effective. I have
also met a few people each week and enjoy the other people in the
class. Each workout is different which keeps me from being bored. I
would recommend this class to my friends!

HIgh scores for Scott Harwood,...
By straussjef - May 22, 2009
My
partner and I have been working out with Scott Harwood since January,
2008. Scott has been very motivational to work out with. His workouts
are very fast paced and consistently work out various muscle groups. He
has been excellent at both helping you reach your individual goals and
maintaining those goals. His workouts are always varied so that the
muscle groups have a variety of of ways to become fatigued and keep
your workouts interesting. His background in the marines has continued
in his collaboration with other trainers to keep Scott current on his
training techniques. Scott has always remained flexible to accommodate
our busy schedule. I would highly recommend Scott for personal
training. Jef Strauss

If you want results, hire Scott!
By Landon - May 21, 2009
I
hired Scott for 10 sessions of individual training. I have never worked
as hard, but I have also never seen such results. Scott has a great
ability to keep you moving from one exercise to the next, all with a
plan of targeting the same set of muscles to generate massive results.
After three sessions I noticed physical changes in my body,
specifically muscle gain. After ten sessions, I was stronger, leaner,
and in better cardiovascular shape. I highly recommend Scott and am
looking forward to moving into his Boot Camp classes in the next few
weeks. If you are looking for a real trainer and not just a poser, pick
up the phone or email Scott right now. You will not be
disappointed.

Master Swimmer
By SpeedoColoGuy - Apr 12, 2009
I'ma
44 year old Masters Swimmer and was never properly instructed on how to
navigate the weight room. Gym memberships etc. I was looking to enhance
my performance in the water by doing something different on land. I
found that with Scott Harwood, 2 intense workouts per week coupled with
my swim routine 4 times a week and Scott has help me gain strength,
endurance, and size....2 inches on nonexistent biceps, 1 inch on my
chest, and almost 2 inches from my waistline. But the most important
thing it's given me is CONFIDENCE.

worked out with Scott Harwood 3x/wk for 1 month before returning back

and fit into my pre-pregnancy professional wardrobe. Scott's workout
constantly challenged me. The entire hour was used and I felt I was
getting my money's worth 100%. I increased my strength and jump started
my metabolism very quickly.

Great workout each and every time!
By sockman11 - Apr 3, 2009
I
played college soccer and thought I was in great shape while I was
doing that 5 years ago. I belonged to several gyms in the denver area
and now have joined this boot camp, I have been working with Scott for
2 months and I never felt better. His boot camp has built my endurance
up, stamina up, and strength up for just an 1hour a day 4 times a week,
its a great way to train. I did not think that I could get back to my
soccer playing shape, but Im getting closer to where I want to be with
his help. There are days when your motivation may not be there, but
Scott does a great job of pushing you to perform at a high level. I
would highly recommend this boot camp.

Scott Harwood is a Superstar!
By jmdesign2 - Mar 20, 2009
I
joined up 3 weeks ago and I have all ready lost 6 lbs and 1.5 inches
off my waist. I have energy and I really feel good. Just this week I
have had many compliments from my co-workers. They tell me that I look
happy and full of energy. They have also noticed that I have lost
weight. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. It has been a long
time since someone has paid me a compliment. Scott is very encouraging
and he constantly pushes you to not give up and to work harder to see
better results. He does make the class interesting by changing the
routine every workout. That is what keeps me coming back.I look forward
to seeing more results as I progress in my workouts. I feel confident
that Scott will help me get there. Scott said, " I'm going to change
your Life" and he all ready has.

I
had a choice of getting old and feeling worse or try and reverse the
aging process and feel younger. I have worked out over the years. I ran
the Boulder Boulder 2 years in row , 3 to 4 years ago and beat up my
body in the process. I tried the club's (YMCA, Bally's, working out
with friends and running). Well they all got old. After separating my
shoulder I laid off working out for three years. I tried to get back
into the work out thing again and it was to hard to get to a strong
workout by myself. In looking for a massage and in the hopes of feeling
better and I ran across Scott's boot camp ad, bingo! I have not tried
that yet. I went to college instead of the military and always wanted
to get a book camp workout. Well I'm starting my 6th week,. I feel
great. I feel 10 years younger. The whole body work out it provides has
eliminated my back pains, my posture is better and helps me get through
the day with pep in my step. No more naps and feeling strong

Prepare to sweat and get in shape
By Nikki - Mar 19, 2009
When
I started attending the Denver Boot Camp I was out of shape and
couldn't do more than one rep of certain exercises. After only a few
weeks I know that I am getting stronger because I see the improvement
I'm making with each class by how many reps or how long I can do each
exercise. Don't get me wrong: the class is hard, but it really is
doable for all fitness levels.

personal interest in each member from their first day and the class is
funny and lighthearted. It makes you forget how hard you are working.
You see many of the same faces in class, if you continue to go, and we
all push eachother to work harder but also support eachother on the
really tough days! A great investment whether you are a fitness veteran
or a beginner looking to get back in shape.

Affordable, entertaining workouts!
By vernie - Feb 8, 2009
Scott
makes a workout entertaining. I always thought I couldn't workout for
an hour. I use to worked out at the gym on my own and oh my god I felt
like the clock never moved and ended up quitting after 10 minutes! When
you go to Scott's workouts the time flys and you actually feel like you
had a great workout! You'll sweat, be sore the next day but man it
feels wonderful! Scott makes the workout diverse and MOST of it is
affordable! He offers bootcamp workouts, group training, and personal
training. Also, you aren't stuck indoors in a stuffy room, we actually
do some workout outside. He's a MUST!

Run, don't walk, to work out with Scott!
By notthepitcher - Feb 4, 2009
I
am in decent shape, but I have always been 10 pounds from where I want
to be. I have been working out with Scott for a month and have hit the
weight I want.

Love boot camp!
By Laura - Feb 3, 2009
I
started going to Scott's boot camp about a month ago, and I can already
feel a difference. I'ma triathlete so endurance is very important for
me, and nothing kicks my butt more than boot camp!! The drills that
Scott puts us though force the body to change and adapt. I feel like I
can run faster and cycle harder than I ever could before, and my times
are improving in each sport. I will continue to go to boot camp as it
has now become an integral part of my training!! I highly recommend the
class to anyone who is seeking a new challenge and wants to take it to
the next level.

Scott's
boot camps are intense yet effective. After 3 classes I noticed a
difference in my strength, endurance and weight. He's laid back but he
won't let you slack in class and is very good about explaining what
each exercise focuses on. He also makes sure you are doing the exercise
correctly with good form and intensity. Definitely a worthwhile

Awesome...
By cristin_001 - Feb 2, 2009
So
yeah, the title speaks for itself.
highly recommend using Scott if you are looking for a trainer that can
give you the results you want while keeping you excited to keep going
back!

Scott trained me at my house
By butchsdad - Jan 26, 2009
I
have trained regularly with Scott Harwood for three months. I'm
grateful for the fact that Scott will schedule in advance, is
invariably punctual, and always pleasant and companionable. he tailors
the approach and regimen to the client's age, body type, and personal
goals. his detailed recall of each training session prepares him to
ensure every session varied and progressive, in that results are
compounded because of the inability of any muscle, or group of muscles,
to become pattern-conditioned. I highly recommend Scott to anyone of
any age for physical fitness training.

Posted by: Rod G., 11/13/2009 Useful? +0 I started going to Scott's
classes about three months ago after signing up for a 3 month deal. The
classes are great and affordable. Scott brings his knowledge and sense
of humor to each class. The activities vary from class to class, but
you are always pushed to your limit. You meet fun people and see
results in a short amount of time. After going to other bootcamps in
Denver I can honestly say this is the best training in the city. Flag

Posted by: Steven R., 11/12/2009 Useful? +0 At the age of 42 I've put
on a few pounds. Like, 40 of 'em. I was doing a lazy workout at my gym
once or twice a month (maybe), which meant I was spending about $50 a
workout. I finally cancelled, with the intention of getting up early
every morning and going for a healthy jog. (Yeah, that happened about
twice.) I decided to try Scott's Boot Camp because he was by far the
best deal in town, and after attending his early-morning class for
about six weeks now, I have to say, I'm getting more than my money's
worth! I can already see a decided improvement in my level of fitness.
This is an intense workout. We do a lot of classics such as pushups and
situps mixed with some exercises I had never heard of six weeks ago
(try "Bear Crawling" the length of the gym two or three times at 6am
and it will change your world.) This is not a lycra-and-dance-steps gym
class. Scott keeps up a steady conversation throughout the class (feel
free to join in if you can talk) and the tone is definitely more
"Family Guy" than "Touched by an Angel." (What do you expect from a
Boot Camp class? This isn't “Zumba.”) Scott's a
good guy and he gives a killer class at a great price. Is your gym
membership only making your bank account thinner? Is your bike dusty?
Does that elliptical trainer in the basement serve only to dry delicate
undergarments? Then you really need to sign up for this class. If
you're worried that it'll be too hard, believe me, you can do this. I'm
usually at the bottom of the class, and it really doesn't matter. Start
where you are, make a commitment to keep coming back, and you will be
truly pleased and surprised at how quickly you improve. C'mon! Do it!

bootcamp for 3 months and I have already seen results. He makes every
workout fun. He always uses a variety of exercises at a quick pace so
you are never bored! I actually look forward to working out now!
